Andrew Brueggen, our
Youth Minister!
 We're
happy to announce that we have a new Youth Minister.
Andrew Brueggen is a student at Saint Mary's University
in Winona majoring in Pastoral and Youth Ministry. He'll
graduate in May 2011. Andrew is involved in Track and
Field and is an All Conference Hammer Throw and
National Qualifier in Hammer Throw. So keep him away
from hammers --- or keep him on your side!
Andrew also
attended UW La Crosse, was a part of the Screaming Eagle's Band
(Tuba), Track and Field, and Cheer and Stunt Team. He's a 2007
Graduate of Holmen High School where he was a National Honor
Society Member, Football Viking Award Winner, Powerlifter, Show
Choir, Band and Choir. His GPA dipped to 3.99 in 2007.
Andrew has
been employed by the La Crosse Area Family YMCA in Child Watch,
Wellness Center, and Teen Strength Coordinator. Andrew is one
of the original founders of the praise and worship band
"Traditional Division" playing bas guitar and lead vocals.
Andrew is a substitute teacher for 9th and 10th grade CCD,
public speaker at Diocesan youth retreats and rallies (including
the upcoming rally at Chula Vista in Wisconsin Dells), assisted
in preparation and execution of youth events at the parish and
diocesan levels, and assisted by chaperoning parish youth trips
and camp counselor.
Andrew came
highly recommended by Chris Rogers (Diocesan Director of Youth
Ministry) and Father Joe Hirsch (Vicar for Priests and Vocation
