My name is Cathie Steinhoff and I would like to introduce
myself to you as the Youth Minister here at St Patrick’s and
give you an idea of what the group is all about:
St Patrick’s Youth Ministry Program provides activities for
youth, grades 4th –
12th that . . .
• Empower them to develop a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ
and live as Disciples of Christ in our world.
• Foster the total personal and
spiritual growth of each young person
according the beliefs of the Catholic Faith.
• Draw youth to responsible
participation in the life, mission and
ministries of the faith community.
• Help them apply their faith to daily
life experiences.
• Nurture in them the positive values
of love, honesty, courage,
peace, nonviolence, fidelity, chastity, generosity,
tolerance, social justice, integrate, responsibility and
community.
• Encourage young people to become
leaders in their faith.
So I invite your child to come to a youth meeting and see if
it is something that would strengthen the beliefs that you hold
in your family.
It will be fun filled learning and active experience.
