Marge Hickey, our Pastoral Minister

My name is Margaret Hickey (Margie). I am 58 (2006) and I work in the area of Adult Ministry. I have been a member of this parish for 31 years. I am married, have two daughters and three grandchildren. I have been actively involved in almost every area of the parish over the past 27 years and have especially loved working with the good people of St. Patrick’s.

It has been a great privilege and a wonderful opportunity to serve you as a Parish Minister over the past 7 years.

I work in a number of areas as a Parish Minister in the parish: the RCIA Program, the Young at Heart Senior Group, Ministry to the Homebound and Hospital, Adult Education, Newcomer Welcome, and Wedding Ministry.

I help with bulletin inserts, Funeral set-up, Baptism preparation sessions, and some sacramental follow-up mailings. I also attend various parish group meetings.

I am a resource and parish contact person for adult groups in the parish. Those in the parish who are interested in forming a group may contact me with questions or for assistance. I am here to help you find books or guides and to let you know what the church expects of you, when you wish to host a Bible study or Prayer group.

You can find my office near the church worship area, near the elevator. I am usually available on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., but do leave occasionally for homebound visits or other matters so it is best to call an set up an appointment.
